summer fun

So I like how I never use this anymore. I kinda always I forget that I have it.

So school is out for summer, which is awesome. This summer is going to be amazing. I am SO excited about my new job as a day camp counselor. I remember how much fun it was to go to camp when I was little and much I looked up to the couselors there. It's going to be so much fun to help other kids have that same experience. I miss being outdoors too! I'm sure I will be totally sick of the outdoors when the high is 101, but for now, I miss it.

My mom called to tell me that she broke her baby toe today. That sure is a shitty way to start out mother's day weekend. Poor lady, she'll have to hobble around all day with little children. Or course she doesn't give a damn, we was on her way to go to the store and save the world or something, who knows.

I want it to rain more than anything today. It hasn't rained in a while and I miss it. There is nothing nicer than walking to class when there is a light rain. There has to be someone around here who knows how to rain dance. It's Oklahoma for God's sake.

wow it's been a while

Can you tell I've been busy? I can't believe it's been like 4 months since I have posted. Here's an update:

My roommate finally freakin moved out so now I have my own room. :) And I love it.

I got a new cell phone for my birthday which was this monday.

Mitch and I broke up. (He's an ass)

Meg and I signed our lease for the townhouse next year. YAY!

today was one of those days. i have a lot to do but i keep jumping from project to project. it seems like im never going to get my history done. i'm really never going to get it done if my roommate keeps talking on her phone. loudly might i add. i don't have time to talk on the phone. she says she is leaving next semester to go to a different school. it might be nice to have my own room. i really miss being alone sometimes. grrr.... so loud. it is driving me crazy. i guess phone manners are not a big issue to her.

anyway. i need to stop complaining about that. i need to work on my paper. oh what fun! a nice little vent and im through. i can make it until tomorrow.

its over? no way.

i cannot believe it's saturday night. i swear to God that it is friday. i got to hang out with kendall all weekend. he just came back from boot camp and i missed him so much! he lost 25 pounds and all muscley now. he leaves for more marine training on the 25. i wont be able to come next weekend i dont think i will see him again until christmas. it really sucks. we have been best friends since kindergarten and i cannot believe he is so grown up now. i am so scared he is going to be shipped away somewhere. i dont know what i would do if he was gone.

my brother's birthday was this weekend. he's 23! what an old man. haha, i was glad i got to actually see him. he went to the fair with his friends and then we had a family thing. i took some of the cake back to school...yumm. midnight snack! i sure as hell will be up that long doing freakin history. woo! speaking of that i probably should go do that.....

good ole wednesdays

i think if there is one day of the week i could just skip, it would be wednesday. they are always bleh.

the rest of the day was okay. i bought some bagels and cream cheese for like 8 bucks at the store downstairs. it sucks that my comfort food is so fattening. fuck it. who cares about that anyway. as long as it tastes good.
